Im starting my senior year(C/o 2017) in the fall and plan on applying regular decision .I have a 3.72 gpa unweighted and a 3.9 weighted.
Ive only taken 2 AP classes and did well in both an A and a B.But I got a d in my precalc class my junior year due to horrible learning environment and teacher who didnt know what she was doing or how to control the class .I studied and went to tutoring. Most of the people who made an A or B cheated but i refused to do so.I also was very tired from sports and also staying up to around 2 every night on homework.
For the fall I plan on taking 3 Ap courses Ap Stats.Ap Lit ,and Ap Pyschology .By the end of my senior year ill have taken 8 AP classes. So by the time I finish regular decision app I hope to have around a 3.87 unweighted and 4.08 weighted with 5 AP Classes. My SAT Score currently is a 1030 but ive been studying all summer and plan on retaking it 3 times .I found the error in why my score is low because I spend too much time rereading the passages when the questions arent really content based and second guessing myself. My ACT score is a 20 which I also plan on retaking to get at least a 25.
