Hi! I’m a senior rushing to finish my applications before the December 1st deadline. My primary school of interest is the University of Southern California school of cinematic arts for interactive design.
My unweighted gpa is a 3.45 and my weighted one is a 3.85. I have taken multiple AP classes and am in the bottom part of the first quartile of my class. My sat score is a 1340.
While my gpa and scores are not that superb I hope that my supplemental items can help boost my chances of getting in. I was wondering what USC looks for in the creative work sample. I have both experience in coding and have years of experience in art.
However I have never created a game. Is it feasible to create a small game in the timeframe I have or what else would they like to see? I have shown interest in coding and started programming as a freshman. I’m not sure if it’s worth noting that I had participated in the Girls Who Code summer immersion camp.
Thabk you in advance for reading and helping me out!
