What are my chances of getting into UVa?

<p>I am currently a Junior in high school and have been dreaming of going to the University of Virginia for a while now. For my first four years I want to study Biology and then hopefully go on to medical school to pursue a career of pediatric oncology. </p>

<p>My cumulative GPA from freshman and sophomore year is a 4.41. My counselor said that the least I can go down to with if my current Junior year grades remain the same is a 4.39.</p>

<p>I've only taken one SAT so far, but plan on taking a few more to get my first score up. That score was a 1750.</p>

<p>I play soccer for the high school team, a travel team outside of school and for my State's Olympic Development Program. I also volunteer every week at my local hospital. I'm a member of a Turkish Folklore dance group as well. I'm also involved in a club at my school that works special needs students.</p>

<p>I used a conversion scale on CollegeBoard and using that it would be a 4.0 assuming my junior year classes stayed this same grade.</p>

<p>Sorry, I find that rather unlikely. You had a 4.2 out of either a 5.0 or 6.0 scale, but on a 4.0 scale, that’s a 4.0?</p>
