I’m transferring for fall 2016 and I just recently applied beginning of January. I have assured admission with my credits and GPA, and all of my classes are transferable. I won’t be able to submit my college transcript to tech until the end of this month because we are in trimesters though, so I haven’t yet been officially accepted. I know you can’t apply for housing until your accepted. Let’s say I get accepted by mid February, what are the chances of me getting to pick my own residence hall? I want to have the Muarry Hall Transfer Connection but I’m afraid I’m moving too slow and all the spots will be gone. Is February still early or is it pretty late in the sense of signing the contract and reserving a spot?
A nice feature of the TTU Housing site is the Room Availability Report, which is updated in real time. You can check it periodically once you’re admitted to see if a room becomes available in one of your preferred halls. It worked for my son, who eventually found a vacancy in Murray.
