<p>I am a senior at the university of michigan graduating in 2011. I'm a mechanical engineer. I will be applying to grad school this semester and my GPA is in the 3.2-3.3 range. I was wondering if you could tell me what my chances are of getting into either Colorado School of Mines or Texas A&M for petroleum engineering or field related to geological sciences?? I came into college with enough credit to complete my degree in 3 years and as a result i have only done one internship( automobile industry, not related to petroleum)</p>
<p>i am doing the energy concentration in my school under ME although i dont know how much that is going to matter in this. I am also considering UT austin and U alaska- fairbanks.</p>
<p>Id appreciate any advice on this . thank you.</p>
