What are my chances of transferring as I Junior.

I’m looking forward on applying to UIUC for this Fall 2016 as computer engineering major. Right now I have a C in calc 2 and physics 1. Although, others are A’s and B’s. And my GPA is 3.45. I wanna know if someone got into the computer engineering major with two C’s in the technical subjects. If so, what was your GPA? And is it possible for me to transfer, because they require only a 3.00 and mine is above 3.00.
Also, I talked with my admission’s counselor, and she said :
“Though you are welcome to apply for admission, typically the College of Engineering would prefer to see A’s and B’s in the required classes needed for admission. They would typically recommend that students retake courses where they received a grade of a C. Doing so would make you more competitive for admission”.

Now, I am concerned that would I even get in. please reply.

In my opinion, if you are from a respective university and get 2 C’s, that can be explained. But if you are from a CC or a less respective university, then your chances are low.
