What are my chances of UM Ann Arbor, Michigan State, Boston U, NYU, UCSD?

Hi I am currently a senior-bound student in Michigan. I really want your opinions on my chances at those schools.

My test scores include 1990 on SAT (740 W 11 Essay, 710 M, 540R) superscore of 2000. My ACT is a 29 (32 W 10Essay, 33 M, 24 R, 28 S) superscore of 30. I am really frustrated because everytime I get my results, reading is the only thing that is restraining me from a good score.

GPA is 3.8
4.0 during my sophmore and junior year. Including AP Chemistry and AP History. Next year will include AP Calculus AP State AP Bio and AP Gov

2 seasons of sports

Played instrument since I was 7 years old. Symphony orchestra for 3 years. State and district recognition for 2 years in a row.

Volunteer at summer institution for my district.
NHS 11-12 grade
Key Club
Also other clubs at my school.
Worked at the 2008 Presidential precint election.

Thanks all!!!

Also a resident of Michigan with intrest in UM-Ann Arbor, MSU, and somewhat Boston University. I think your chances are good with the in-state universities, and possibly out of state private universities.

ya if you tell me tour scores, gpa, ec, etc. I can prolly chance you too!!

I would bring up your test scores. What do you want to major in? Because, for example, some of NYU’s colleges take close to 30% of apps, while Stern (the business school) accepts a much smaller number. I would bring up your SAT scores, they seem a little low for NYU and Michigan but other than that your gpa is really solid.

BU: In
Michigan: match/probably in
NYU: match
UCSD: match

Hey thx!! I’m thinkin either business or med school? Would that help or lower my chances? Also living in state, would it be easier to get into Michigan?
