<p>I will be a senior and will be applying soon. I attend a highly regarded public high school in New Jersey and UF is my dream school. My stats:</p>

<p>Weighted GPA: 3.94</p>

<p>SAT: 1980 (2400)
-CR: 620
-M: 640
-W: 720</p>

<p>ACT: 30</p>

<p>honors classes all 3 years
Will take AP statistics and AP studio art senior year</p>

<p>ECs: varsity swimming all 3 years (captain for upcoming 2010-2011 season)
Art portfolio club all 3 years</p>

<p>Community Service: 50+ hours youth ministry (2008-2010)</p>

<p>Employment: Lifeguard (summer 2009 and 2010)
Swim Coach (summer 2010)</p>

<p>Honors/awards: secretary of NHS (in my school NHS activities involving NHS are only
done senior year)
Class Recognition award in Art (sophomore year)</p>

<p>Ethnicity: Hispanic (Does this matter? I've been told yes and no)</p>

<p>Those are not bad credentials, SAT/ACT are good as well as ECs, tambien eres hispano asi que eso puede ayudar, even though you are out-of-state I think you have a good opportunity, ahh y preparate a pagar un poquito mas.
