Any teacher I ask will write a great Recommendation letter for me

So what are your thoughts? Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated

You should definitely apply and are in the range of acceptees. FYI: you don’t need SAT subject tests if you are submitting an ACT score.

You should apply. Good luck!

Thanks for the input and the news about the subject tests. That is definitely a relief

You’re a URM, you have a good ACT score, decent extracurriculars, and a fantastic GPA. Apply, be genuine in your essays, show interest, and your chances will be just fine.

Will my low sat score effect me or will they only look at the act score? Should i take the sat again anyway?

they look at the best of the two. hence the ACT

Just wondering…how can your weighted gpa be 4.51 if your school only offers 4 AP classes? Are your honors classes weighted too? Or does your school award 6 points for AP?

Yea I’ve taken a lot of honor classes and at my school all of the honors and AP classes are weighted and awarded 5 points. My Gov/Economics class is also honors, I just marked it incorrectly.
