What are my chances- Stanford REA, USC, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Northwestern, NYU

Hey everyone! I’m a rising senior who’s wondering what their chances are to get into the schools listed below. Thank you in advance for all of your help! Here’s some info on me:

Note: My school runs on a semester system, meaning students take 4 classes one semester (which has 2 quarters), and then 4 different ones the next semester for a total of 8 classes a year normally, with some exceptions.

Academics:

  • I am applying to schools with an interest in art/film. This may not end up being what I major in if I don’t get into school known for film; I might major in data science instead or even economics. I’m not very sure yet.
  • I rank 82/501 at a public high school in California.
  • I have a 3.86 unweighted, and a 4.32 weighted GPA from 10th-now
  • I got a 34 on ACT with essay
  • Planning on taking Math II and Biology Subject Tests
  • 11 APs and 2 courses from my local community college

Classes:
9th- Integrated Math II, PE 9, Health, Biology, English 9, Spanish 1, Integrated Math III, Leadership- all As

10th- PE 10, Honors Chemistry, AP Physics I, Honors English 10 (not weighted though), AP European History, Art 2 (skipped art 1), Spanish 2, Honors PreCalculus- got Bs each quarter in Physics and Chem (very challenging because I also was part of JV tennis that semester) and a B in the second quarter of PreCalc, took Euro and Physics, passed one, won’t be reporting those scores

Over summer- took the equivalent of AP US History at my local community college- got an A

11th- Art 3, AP Calc AB, Physiology, Off Period (meaning no grades for this period because no class), Art 4, Spanish 3, AP Calc BC (we are required to take AB first semester and BC second semester, then pick one AP test to take), AP Biology-All A’s, took Calc AB and Bio tests and I expect a 5 on both

Over summer- taking the equivalent of AP Language and Composition at my at my local community college- expecting an A

12th (planning on doing)- Art 5, AP Studio Art, AP Literature, AP Statistics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Gov, AP Microeconomics, Law and Justice, (if I want to take macro and micro econ, I have to take gov and law+justice)- expecting A’s in all

Extracurriculars:
-Been taking art classes since 4, made numerous fine art paintings in high school, including one award winning one. My paintings will also be featured in a gallery later this year and I will be painting a mural at my school when things become safer again.
-Took dance (everything from ballet to Bollywood to hip hop) from sixth grade up until the end of freshman year. Planning on joining a dance club at whatever college I go to
-Started and ran a filmmaking club in freshman year. Ended it because the very few people that were interested in the club didn’t do anything, so I had trouble managing the club.
-Was part of Science Olympiad and president until half way through Junior year, until I realized I didn’t want to major in something related to science and my club advisor was crazy
-Currently, I run my own business where I custom paint designs on canvas shoes. Been doing since the end of 10th grade (Jan 2019)
-Currently, I started my own nonprofit last year where I raise money (now with a small team of students) to purchase and donate solar powered lights to underprivileged communities in India. I also went to India in person when I started it last year, and made an award winning documentary on the situation there and how we helped the people. Been doing since end of 10th grade (Jan 2019, Summer 2019)
-Currently, I am currently in an internship relating to data science. I plan to apply my skills to create art from data I collect and analyze. (Summer 2020)

Awards and Achievements:
-Made a documentary about my nonprofit: Winner of Best Documentary at my high school’s first film festival, Award of Merit from IndieFest Film Competition, Official Selection from Newport Beach Film Festival
-My painting won an Honorable Mention Award at the Congressional Art Competition in my district
-Planning to win a few more awards for my paintings
-Making a film for film apps this summer that will be submitted to some festivals
