What Are My Chances - STEM Universities

I am currently a junior at a school in NYC. I am taking the IB program (not the AP program). My higher level courses are computer science, physics, and history. I had a GPA of 3.9 in Freshman year, and 3.8 in Softmore year (I was in a college level math course). I have not taken the SAT/ACT yet but scored 1200 on the PSAT at the beginning of Softmore year.

I have a bunch of extracurriculars such as cross country, business and investment club, robotics club (founder/president), student ambassador, and debate team.

My main achievement is creating a low-cost prosthetic hand, which was featured on Fox News, BBC, etc. My design is also patent pending. I am currently getting a startup venture off the ground, built around this project (https://www.hephaestushand.com/). Besides that, I have a portfolio of programming projects, mostly centered around research-related computer vision projects.

What are my chances of getting into a selective college for computer science? I want to apply to MIT, UPenn, University of Michigan, and Berkley (those are my top contenders). Is this unrealistic? What types of universities should I be applying to?

Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.

Be sure to focus on your math courses as well as cs and science.

Rock your ACT/SAT, keep your grades up, and you’ll be competitive anywhere.

Research match and safety schools too. Everyone needs a well balanced list.
