What Are My Chances To Get In Cornell????

I'm from NY
I got 740 in math (SAT I) but 620 in verbal.
My GPA is 4.0 (top 5%). SAT II japanese 740, physics 690, math IIC 960, writing 660.

My EC includes varcity track, marching band, honor society, boys state, area all-state band, volunteer at nursing home, interact club, academic challenge.
Honor/awards: perfect score in NYSSMA lvl. 6 (highest level), merit art award, national athletic scholastic, national teacher's paino guilds award (superior rating).

my ethnicity is Asian
My college list is Duke, cornell (college of agric. & life science), U of Michgan, U of Rochester, and U of Binghantom.
What chance do i have for these colleges?????

whoops, my math IIC is 690.

U woulda had a great shot with a 960 IIC

Ok, my friend had similar stats to yours, and he was rejected from cornell (same college) ED. Oh, and NYSSMA apparently doesn't count as an award (I tried putting it on mine too). Rochester and Binghamton are pretty much a sure thing. Duke, I have no idea.

How Do You Get A 1360 On Your Sats But You Can Not Spell Varsity??

What are your awards in track? Did you get a letter? Do you do cross country also? How much community service do you have?

Could you retake some sat II's? Looks like you have a shot, if you could bring those up. People with similar stats as yours get into Cornell at my school.

Thx for the comments
I don't do cross country, but I did get some awards for track.
My community service time is at least 50 hours (not the greatest, I know).
But i'm sending one of my best oil painting to college, which might help me.
For SATs, i'm planning to retake SAT I, but not the II's.

Oh, and I do have a letter from track and marching band .

bump, by the way what do you guys think is the best way to prepare for the verbal section????

International:
SATI: 690 v, 800 m
SATII: 660 wr, 750 Ic, 800 IIc
retaking writing and taking physics
top 5% of class, GPA 6.00 on a 6 scale
excellent recs, decent extracurriculars, several awards and certificates, work experience since I was 13, great rec. from employer, volunteer work
essay should be fine...

any chance for Cornell? :)

Yup, id say a good chance...look at my stats, if you want to feel better

where can I look at them? :)

Might want to look at some very good liberal arts schools like Bowdoin or Holy Cross.
