Reason for transfer:
I applied to my current college as a bio-chem major on a pre med track. However, after finding a passion in economics and research, I soon realized my school did not provide enough resources for me to go further. This is also why I've taken several graduate courses in hopes to do more. However, with Northwestern's great economics program, I hope to achieve much more with the effort I've putting in. I would also like to be involved in one of the economic professor's research as I find it particularly interesting.

I understand that Northwestern discourages students with 3 years of school from transferring, but I feel as though my first year as a pre-med student has taken away from me, a year of possibilities in furthering my passion of economics.

So what would you say my chances are in being accepted into Northwestern?
