What are my chances? UBC AND QUEEN'S UNI

Hey everyone! I am a senior student recently. I really want to get into UBC and Queen’s university.
I want to apply for business program. What are my chances?

  • SAT score is 1070, but I will write it one more time and I think it will improve
  • My gpa is 3.74 (for three high school years), for 11th grade it was 3.83
  • Extra activities: NHS(treasurer), help club, photography, Math Count

Will i get into the school?
if yes, should i need anything else to get there?

Also, I have 3 AP Courses: Calculus, US History, and AP English composition

According to what I found out, 1070 score corresponds to a 1470 in the old SAT out of 2400. Here are minimums from both universities

Queen’s University

SAT results may be required, regardless of citizenship (minimum score of 1200 with no less than 580 Evidence Based Reading & Writing and 520 Mathematics. Writing scores will be used only for statistical purposes.) A minimum ACT score of 26 is also acceptable.(College Board Code 0949.  ACT Code 5236).

UBC

I cannot really find any data for ACT/SAT score

I would say both are high match or low reach since your SAT is rather lower than usual average (even if I cannot really find anything for UBC, I do see a lot of people with much higher stats). I would say you should aim for getting 1800+ for SAT (you shall convert it to new sat cuz I am not familiar with the new one). If you can take ACT, then you should also go and take it. Make it to like 29+ to exceed the minimum for the best shot I guess. However, you still have decent GPA, which I guess it is unweighted. You have a good chance of admission, but really it depends on how they view you and any other factors. I would definitely try to raise SAT until the deadline for any submission
