look up the definition for 'irony'.
on this forum, of all places, you should expect grammar nazis like me to call you out on sh1t like this. really, though.

actually, look up 'sarcasm', too.

(i'm not being sarcastic)

bleh, this is a pretty pointless argument that you are clearly trying to instigate.

but if you insist...

I think you have a good shot with a 2.8 because I had signed an agreement with UCI month ago with that gpa as well. Hopefully you did sign an agreement, but as far as you major goes, I don't know if it is very impacted or not.

Hey everyone -
To the person asking about the 2.8GPA - I’m sure you heard about getting into film studies at UCI by now - but to give you an example I applied and got in the same major for fall 2009. I am getting my AA this semester and have a 3.7 and most of my classes are honors…so I think it depends every year on who actually applies. It never hurts to be hopeful. I mean I haven’t heard from my reach schools yet (UCLA, Chapman, and USC) - I don’t know if I have a high enough GPA to get into to any of those…but I do have a pretty high GPA…but I may end up going to UCI, we’ll see. Don’t know if this helps…I think all colleges are going to be competitive to get into…good luck.

pinkerfloyd you make me laugh with your initial sarcastic posts but sad with your follow up arguments.

It’s ironic ;)

pinkerfloyd, where did you get those statistics from?

He got them from UC Statfinder.

This **** be hella old school.
