Hey guys so I am an asian OOS student (california) planning on applying to UW Seattle for autumn term, so heres what i got
SAT: 1900 Math:680 CR: 640 Writing:580
Gpa: 3.5 (UW)
Only 1 AP and 1 honors class :/
My bad EC's: Robotics team, ping pong club, officer of the film club, tutor, 3 years baseball,
Very good essays I believe, and I also have an upward trend in grades (from B's and some C's to straight A's).
applying pre major.
Am i okay?

My son had a slightly lower unweighted GPA, but he took the most demanding available courseload (full IB, plus additional AP classes and all Honors as underclassman), and so his weighted GPA was over 4.0. He had a 2060 SAT and 31 ACT, along with very strong EC and service resume. He was waitlisted, and we were shocked. He got into UCSD, which is typically more selective.

that is unsettling to say the least

We may hear many more stories like woogzmama’s this year (especially from Californians). Seattle Times recently reported that freshman applications were up 16% to 36,528 this year.
“The university continues to receive an ever-increasing number of applications from outside the state; this year, there was a 19 percent increase in applications from out-of-state students overall, and a whopping 31 percent increase in applications from California. Other states with big increases: Massachusetts (29 percent), Illinois (27 percent), Texas (25 percent), Minnesota (24 percent) and New York (23 percent).”
