i dont know about the UCs (considering i dont live in CA lol), but i can try to guess at some boston schools (considering i live in boston lol).
Northeastern - you will probably get in.
BU - you will probably get in, depending on what college you apply to (definately the college of general studies, but probably not if u want the communications school).
Suffolk - you would probably get in.
BC - it's a reach, you would have to bring up your SATs and SATIIs. but it's worth a shot if you are interested.

if you want business, look at babson and bentley.

Thanks, i was thinking about BU but i thought i wouldnt get in but i will consider it

and for northeastern i got something called an "express application" or something like that i was wondering if you knew anything about it and if that would increase my chances of gettin in

crazykidwanabe:

UCLA/UCB: Reach
UCSD: Slight Reach
UCD/UCSB/UCI: Match
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Safe Match

BC: Reach
BU: Slight Reach
NYU: Slight Reach
Northeastern: Safe Match

thanks flopsy

iam really worried that i wont get into ucla and ucb even though i had friends who got in with lower sat scores than mines

Well yeah....the impact of GPA and scores combined accounts for about 70% of an application to a UC school. I think your GPA and SAT will probably cancel each other out making for an average performance in this section. Other than that they look at essays, extra-curriculars, and other tip factors...all of which you have. While UCLA and UCB are reaches you definitely have decent shots at either of them.

do you think i have a better chance at UCLA and UCB because of the elc?

any imput on nyu?

anyone have any imput?

anyone?

ok well im looking at the UC profile page right now and from what i see the one thing that is hurting you the most are the SAT scores. I agrre completely with flopsy's views of the schools. I would make sure to apply yo Irvine and Davis because their acceptance rate of ELC students is like 99.5+ so your pretty much gauranteed unless you dont do your essays. Either way good luck

do u guys think its best to put a lower math 2 c score than a higher math 1 c score?
