My total GPA is a 3.06 unweighted, 3.16 weighted.
My SAT score is a 1760.

My parents really want me to get into a UC, but I'm not really sure if I can with these scores. Also, I was supposed to take the SAT today but couldn't make it, so I'm thinking of taking the November 11th one. Is it that alright? That time I'll be shooting for a 1800+

Unless you somehow qualify within the “local context” (you would have to attend a very low-performing school), I think you will have trouble getting into most UCs other than Merced, or possibly Riverside.

Personally I am a NYer so I do not know a lot about the UC system other then the typical top UCs there. I will say that given your GPA and your SAT, I would not be too hopeful about a really good school. Personally, my friend had a 89.5 GPA(my school is on a 100 point scale) and he wound up getting a 2250 after working his ass off. He had taken 10 APs over the years and really showed improvement junior to senior year. He now is enrolled at Boston University(which from my school, they require a 95-96 typically, I go to a really good school). I am just saying, doing your damn best later on is better then not at all. If you have taken at least 1-2 APs per year, that would help you a bit, but if it is all regular classes, and with a fairly low GPA and that SAT, I would not get my hopes up. Just try your best senior year and try to get that SAT into the 1900s at least to complement your GPA.

As stated above by @woogzmama, the only UC’s were you would have a chance for acceptance, are UC Merced and UC Riverside. Go to a CC and do TAG or TAP to transfer into the UC of your choice. I have already responded to one of your other threads.
