<p>Can anybody comment on my chances. </p>
<p>I also checked out the site below and calculated my stats and I'm not anywhere close to getting in. So if anybody has an opinion it would be greatly appreciated.</p>
<p>What are you majoring in? That's what'll really make the difference. I'd say you're god honest border line for undecided. If you do any of the engineering or sciences your chances are probably greatly dimished. try undecided and see what happens.</p>
<p>Don't be fooled by the 4000+ index average of admittees. The minimum is more like 3700, maybe a little less. If your Math + CR SAT scores total 1300 you should be pretty close.</p>
<p>Well Im majoring in business. And I actually made a mistake on my GPA, it is 3.15 instead of 3.0. My CR+Math is 1280.</p>
<p>well i think you should be fine if you're majoring in business. if you're dying to go there though, and aren't sure if you can get in with declaring business, then declare undecided. seriously it's done some wonders for people. i know a guy who only had a 3.3, no aps and got into berkeley because he put undecided. then again also remember admitance can be pretty random at places...</p>
<p>Your eligibility index comes to 3800 with those grades and scores. Unless the admissions tightens up a lot you should be OK. (My oldest son got in with similar stats 2 years ago.) I don't think it actually matters what you declare at SDSU - you can't actually get into the business major until you're a junior, and have pulled a 3.0 gpa for 2 years and passed all the prerequisite courses. And if you declare prebusiness they will make sure you take all the prereqs you need to declare your major when you're a junior. So I'd recommend that you declare pre-business if that's what you're thinking of majoring in. Good luck!</p>

<p>my eligibility index is 3960 (3.4gpa, 1240sat), and they said last years was
average was 4048</p>
