<p>Hi! I am a Maryland resident, and I would like to do a double major with Finance or Economics and History. </p>

<p>Your chances are 70%. :slight_smile: Seriously, I think you have a good shot but don’t consider VT as a safety school. All of those extracurricular activities won’t be as much of a factor at Virginia Tech as they might be at another school. You’ll have only minimal space to talk about some of those activities. Good luck. As always, strongly consider your Maryland schools even if they are familiar.</p>
