I am currently a freshman student at SUNY Albany and I want to transfer to SBU for the Fall 2015 semester.

Currently, it's midsemester and I have a GPA of 3.5, but I am doing much better, so it's most likely higher now. For my high school, I was ranked 54 out of 400, I had a 90 unweighted GPA and a 95 weighted GPA. I took 3 AP classes and many honors classes throughout high school. I got a 1780 on my SAT and was part of many sporting teams and did volunteer work. I also had a job as a server.

So my question is, what are my chances of being admitted? This is crucial to me because I really do need to be closer to home. I want to live at the school, but have the option to see my family more. I just don't fit in well at UA, and see SBU as a better fit for me.

Help?
