Hi! Im wondering what my chances are for getting in to UT-Austin and when I might hear back from them. I know that it’s extremely hard for an out of state applicant to get accepted but I received good grades throughout high school, I was involved in many activities, I am in the National Honor Society, and I have a parent who attended UT-Austin. I know that they usually only accept out of state students that are in the top 10% of their class, but i’m in the top 20% and I think I have a pretty good application. I also applied for art so I submitted a portfolio and I would consider my art to be pretty good, so would that maybe help me to stand out? Anyways I’m just dying to know if I got in or not, so when do you think I might hear back? I applied kind of late because I was still working on some portfolio pieces:/
