<p>my sats are very low and since i am chinese american it's even lower my math scores are not so hot and i am applying to all engineering schools not many activities
first generation immigrant (7 yrs here) and first gen college</p>
<p>eflo you are just jealous besides math comp and sat are totally different we have 5 minutes to do one problem compare to 1 minute per problem in the sat</p>
<p>Sadly Stanfords out of the picture. Ur gpa is good for stanford but ud want around a 2200 and you dont have an exc that stands out. However, I think you have a legitimate shot at all your other schools but A) You have to go undeclared. As a Engineering major with ur sats esp in Math it will cripple you B) Your essays have to be amazing. None of your exc are hooks (nothing impressive such as being a page for house of reps or internship for a big company). If your essays are spectacular+you go undeclared, you have a legit shot at Cornell and down.</p>
<p>1410 SAT too low for Stanford and MIT, average for Cornell, but below avg for Cornell enginering. CMU is a good possibility, others a lot easier</p>
