What are my chances?

I'm 13, applying for Deerfield, Exeter, Hotchkiss, and Choate, ninth grade. My SSATs are 94%, I have straight As for all of 7th grade, and first term of 8th grade with the exception of PE, which I got a B in. I have excellent recommendations from my English, Math, Latin teachers, and my soccer coach, who all seem to love me. My essays were pretty good, not my best work, but okay still. In 7th grade, I was awarded the English Award (2 Students in Grade), Reader/Writer Workshop Award (2 Students in Each Grade), Latin Award (2 Students in each grade), was awarded with a ribbon and certificate for the National Latin Exam, Principal's Award for outstanding academic achievement (all high honors/honor roll year), and two awards from the local spring art show for my portfolio. My extra curriculurs are; soccer (A Team 7th Grade, B team 8th, Semi Finals both years), drama (Done around 12 plays with medium to leading roles), student newspaper (layout editor and writer), yearbook (editor, superaltives), student government (homeroom representative), Anti Defamation League (peer leader), community service (jr. camp counselor, after school tutor), track, book club, graphic design/art/programming, field hockey, math league, chorus, singing lessons, and I played the violin for 3 yrs. I'm applying for financial aid. I have yet to have my interviews with Deerfield and Hotchkiss, but my Choate and Exeter interviews went well. My Mom's parent statement seemed pretty good. I love to read, and am very, very eager to be educated at any of these schools. Oh, and I'm caucasion, and live in Massachusetts.
Think that's about it. Chances?

Your SSAT is fine, grades are average. Your awards seem great, unless there's only two people in your grade. :P You have a lot of ECs, however, there aren't any real stand-out ones that DA, HS, CRH, and PEA like to look for. Financial aid will bring down your chances sadly. Hopefully your essays, reccomendations, etc. set you apart from the rest of the applicant pool. Good luck.

no offense, but I find it kind of funny how somebody can have straight A's in all their classes...and then a B in PE (supposedly the easiest class)

FA will not lower your chances in Exeter or Andover (or Deerfield), it will not lower your chances by much in any of the HADES schools.

I agree Starz, lol. I sprained my ankle during soccer season and was out for half of my PE classes, so she gave me a B. Oh well... :S My dad said that financial aid wouldn't matter in Exeter, since they're need blind.

OP: I actually think your ECs are awesome. I think the drama thing- with 12 plays shows commitment and depth to your interest.

thats how I roll: why would you say there are no stand outs for the ECs, what is a "stand out that A/E looks for" in your opinion.

Thank you. :) I don't know if I have a chance though, there's people on here with 99% in everything, and it freaks me out. o.o

I know ELSchwartz- My son doesn't have 99% either so we'll see what happens- don't be freaked out people DO get accepted without perfection! (or so I'm told :) )

There was a release from Exeter about how anything greater than 80% on SSAT gets diminishing returns because one missed problem can get you 10% up sometimes. I think someones interviewer said after 90% SSAT becomes close to irrelevant and other aspects of the app. are looked at.
