<p>Community service consists mainly of cancer-related organizations.
Started a pop-tab collecting program 4 years ago and now have 7 schools in 4 districts and 2 states donating tabs to the Houston Ronald McDonald House. I collect tabs and take them to Houston a couple times a year.</p>
<p>Relay for Life and other cancer fundraisers.</p>
<p>I'm a cancer survivor. Got it in 8th grade and again in freshman year. Missed a ton of school, about 25%, in freshman and sophomore years. Some (not all) of my essays were about how cancer changed my life in positive ways....it really did. Not that I'm glad I got it, but it did make me a better person.</p>
<p>I applied RD to Cornell (CALS), Colgate, Dartmouth (my sister just graduated from here last June), Bucknell, UVA, Princeton, Wake Forest, Vandy, Notre Dame, and Washington and Lee. Couldn't apply ED because sister (Dartmouth grad) will be in grad school this fall and we don't know where she'll go and what that will cost.</p>
<p>Yeah, I'm wishful thinking with most of those, and they'll send skinny envelopes, but which ones do you think I might have a chance at? Any?</p>
