Where would I have the best shot at Early Decision?

Thanks for the replies!!!

are you kidding? you're fantastic
i know that you must be male, BUT if you happen to be a girl who is that exceptional in science and math Harvard will kidnap you
heh not very helpful, but you should definitely relax you will get admitted

I'm an indian male...how does that work out?

Well, that will be harder since there are many competitive Indians out there. I mean like there are many more with similiar to your Stats. So keep up the good work and u will probably have a chance

oh...
if you are native american they will love you almost as much as if you were a girl
but sadly, if you (or your parents, etc.) are from india you will be competing against other indians (which is not fair but that's the way the diversity quotas work...) and indians seem to be universally brilliant, so you might have a tougher time (DISCLAIMER TIME this is not to say that american indians are not universally brilliant as well. it just seems that, at MIT and Harvard at least, that every genius in my science classes is either Asian or Indian. I am neither, nor a genius. so go figure. but i am a girl, so yay! END OF DISCLAIMER)
so even though your race might make it easier/tougher, you are really a very strong prospect, so it should all balance out. early desicion will prob help, definitely not hurt, but if i were you, i would try for early admission instead, so you can see which schools will offer you scholarships and then you can decide where you really want to be
also, even if tuition is an issue, you probably want to try for Harvard, MIT, etc. because even if you don't want to go to that area or the tuition is too much if you get admitted you can tell the school that you really are interested in that you've been admitted to say, MIT, and that could help you get admitted there or get them to give you a scholarship that they might not have otherwise given you to get you to come to there school

hope this helps its a little garbled i fear

...before you throw yourself of a cliff, realize that you can get in to any good school regardless of your race. it's just that the super duper competitive places (which are not necessarily better just pricier and older so people want to go there) are, well, competitive, and it could easily come down btw you and some other indian guy who has one more AP than you
any possibilty of not mentioning your race,
or maybe making indirect, vague references to your Puerto Rican grandmother (*hey i am part puerto rican so i know how special this can be.)

krazyndn411..
What math class is the standard for 10th grade at your school?
Are you one math class ahead?

I think to meet graduation requirements, you need to take Algebra 1 in 10th grade. I think i'm a year and a half ahead. After taking AB, my BC class was a breeze.

krazyndn411:

Assuming you are a California resident,
UCLA: Match
UCB: Match
UCSD: Safe Match

Thanks everyone
