I think Harvard/Stanford are uber reaches. I would suggest retaking the SAT.

But look at the ACT score. He can just provide that, right?

I forgot to add that he was captain of his school Wrestling team and went to CIFs.

he does not need to retake SAT's he got 34 on ACT's.

UCB Match
UCLA Match
UCSD Match
UCSB Safety
UCI Safety
USC Match
Georgia Tech No idea about this school
Stanford Reach(it is for everyone)
Harvard Reach(it is for everyone)

i think you should take the sats again man.

I don't think he needs to, a 34 is pretty solid. The ACT is on a bell curve. A 34 is like the lowest number in the top 99 percentile. 34-36 are all in the top 99. If you ask me the SAT score doesn't matter much when you look at that.

nyih.. i hear what you guys are saying, but if he can get a 34 on the ACT he can get higher than a 2080 on the SAT, so he might as well.

I'd say he is a reach at Harvard and Stanford, just like everyone else. The other two schools are match/safeties.
