<p>I think Harvard/Stanford are uber reaches. I would suggest retaking the SAT.</p>

<p>I forgot to add that he was captain of his school Wrestling team and went to CIFs.</p>

<p>I don't think he needs to, a 34 is pretty solid. The ACT is on a bell curve. A 34 is like the lowest number in the top 99 percentile. 34-36 are all in the top 99. If you ask me the SAT score doesn't matter much when you look at that.</p>

<p>nyih.. i hear what you guys are saying, but if he can get a 34 on the ACT he can get higher than a 2080 on the SAT, so he might as well.</p>

<p>I'd say he is a reach at Harvard and Stanford, just like everyone else. The other two schools are match/safeties.</p>
