So I'm currently a junior in high school. My gpa was really high freshman and sophomore year, but it has dropped this year because my classes are much more rigorous. I am in all AP and honors courses, have a 3.5 (which I plan on bringing up) and scored a 2000 on my SATs. I am ranked number 9 in my class. I am going to retake them and shoot for a 2100. I am also vice president of student council, NHS, track, dance crew, and am constantly doing community service. I have also been doing karate for 7 years and have a first degree black belt. I want to go into law, what do you think my odds are of being accepted into Northeastern or NYU? Are there any other schools that would fit with my GPA and SAT scores? Also, will colleges think that I am slacking off this year because my grades are lower or will they realize it is because I am in all AP classes?

You mean pre-law unless you mean an accelerated law program…

NEU: Match
NYU: Match at 2100

Anyway, once in college, get a 3.7+ GPA and 172+ on the LSAT, then you can attend NYU for law school. NEU is LSAT-heavy but 163+ will do the trick there, as long as you have a 3.0+ GPA in college.
