I am currently entering my senior year of high school and I need some help sorting out what colleges I should apply to My GPA and ACT scores aren't the highest. My GPA is quite low because of my Freshmen/Sophomore year. I was living with my dad for the first time and it was a hard transition year.
GPA: 3.6 (weighted) My school does not provided unweighted GPA'S
Class rank: 113 of 360
ACT: 25
EC: I have been on the speech and debate team for all four years. I have placed at many tournaments in my state and have also been the captain for 2 years. I was on my schools Student Accountability Committee which is headed by my principal and we discusses what changes we would like to see in the school. I was the manager for the boys swim team sophomore year (I don't know it that counts for anything). I also ran XC for my Freshmen and Sophomore year the only reason I didn't do it for Junior year and this year is because of an injury. I also joined political committee this year and have monthly meetings with the superintendent about changes I would like to see in the school. I also held a job at a restaurant for the end of junior year and the summer before my senior year.
Freshmen year:
I only took one honors class and ended first semester with a 3.33 and second semester with a 3.5
Sophomore year:
I took APUSH and Honors language arts. I also exempted out of my sophomore science class and took chemistry instead. My GPA first semester was a 3.3 and second semester a 3.26
Junior year :
I took AP World, AP Bio, and Honors Language arts. I ended first semester with a 4.0 and second semester with a 4.16.
Senior year:
I hope to do just as well as junior year- we shall see.

I got 3's on both the APUSH and World History exam.
Ill be writing essays looked over by my language arts teacher for my applications and I have really good relationships with all of my teachers so I'm expecting good letters of rec.

I guess what I am wondering is what schools should I look at. Im looking to major in international business or some sort of government major. I live in Colorado if thats any help. I really want to go out of state for college for a new experience. I am looking for schools in:
Washington
California
Virginia
Massachusetts

Any advice or suggestion would mean a lot!
