What are my required classes for my major and how to transfer to another major.

<p>I'm currently a freshman in UCSB in the College of Letters and Science and I'm somewhat confused with what classes I need to take to satisfy my major and general education requirements. I've taken many APs during high school and have around 44.0 units as free electives so after this quarter, I'd technically be a sophomore.</p>

<p>Also, I'm looking to transfer to Mechanical Engineering and I know it's hard to transfer into this major since it requires taking more advanced math classes. I'm also not sure how to go about satisfying both my major and my transfer requirements and I would appreciate it if anyone could help. Thanks in advance</p>
