Good job.
Thank you
So I’ve applied to FIT, Pace (already got accepted and got 22.5K/year scholarship), Rutgers, Bentley, Babson, Northeastern, Boston, Maryland, NYU, Fordham, Bard and American. Probably have 0 chances for most of these colleges but oh well at least I already got accepted to pace and will be able to afford it so I’m not losing anything
It’s good that you applied to various schools. There’s a chance that you can be accepted to those schools you applied for. I believe you said you would prefer attending a New York college. If that’s the case, if you can get accepted into Cornell, Columbia, NYU, Baruch, Binghamton, Buffalo, Pace, or Syracuse for a business major that would be ideal.
What do you want to do with your business major? If it’s accounting or Finance it may be preferable to go to NYU, Cornell, Baruch, or Pace. If you are concerned about debt, then you may prefer Baruch as long as you pay in-state tuition. Baruch, Columbia, and NYU are in NYC, there are many internships available, as well as jobs that hail from Wall St/investment banking. Pace University is another great school, but if you’re interested in IB, then I would rather go the NYU, Cornell, or Baruch. Baruch, if you are concerned about financial debt, NYU or Cornell if you can “realistically” pay off your tuition in a reasonable time frame.
Anyway, wherever you go try your best! Remember to apply for internships!
^Pace is a very mediocre school, actually. Not that great. The business school is average, but due to the school’s location its quality will normally be elevated to hyperbolic levels.
Buffalo is far more recommendable.
My youngest a freshman at Temple University in Philadelphia in the Fox School of Business. She loves it and has had a very good experience in her business ( and non business ) classes so far. The business school hosts many events and seminars for students and has regular recruiting events for internships and jobs.
