Haha, it looks really complicated but I’m really determined in starting the club because it actually sounds like a really good club to start in my school.

Along with Key Club, I truly do want to start a club that helps third world countries, disaster victims, etc.

Key club… Everyone does Key Club for the sake of community service. Instead try to do whatever you want in life. Some of my friends are volunteering at a hospital but I thought that would be sooooooooooooo boring. Did I mention how much they hate it? Instead, I did something that I actually cared about. I work as a volunteer organizing gay pride events and helping out real people. Just do what you want to do and stick with it. Creating a club for the sake of creating a club isn’t creative at all.

You could try UNICEF or starting a chapter of the Red Cross.

However, you DO realize that there are people living in your own backyard that are as bad off as those in third world countries. At least if you helped people here, first hand, you would know that your money/time/supplies are being put to good work rather than held up in third world bureaucracies like they normally are.

Well, maybe you can attribute support to individuals locally and abroad. It depends on what environment you live in, but if you live in a city, or close to a city, then you should consider doing some volunteer work there. Maybe you could offer tutoring services to city students. In addition to that, you could raise money by selling candy or other goods. You could then use your profits towards disaster relief causes. You might want to consider talking to an administrator regarding your ideas. They would probably be able to assist you in your club.

Key Club SUCKS. All it does is community service, and half of the members in it are just doing it for their resume.

Rotary Interact is a great club. Our club picks our issues that we can help fight, like Polio and cleft palates. But only start it if you’re actually interested in helping these causes.

Rotary Interact sounds great, actually. I looked it up and it’s the type of club that I wanted to create
Thank you for the suggestions! Please don’t assume I just want something for my resume- of course, I do need to show leadership, but I wanted to create a club that helps others as well.
