<p>What are some of the Advantages and Disadvantages of the 6 college system when compared to UCLA or UCB? Or other UCs.</p>

<p>i don't go there, but i remember hearing a disadvantage was that you don't get to meet a lot of people from the other colleges because you spend your four years mostly with the same people in your own college</p>
<p>Most of the people I spend time with are people from class, work, clubs, or parties and most seem to not be from Muir.</p>
<p>Same here, I meet people from everywhere. You just have to get out there, they're not gonna come to you. : )</p>
<p>The 6 college system doesn't apply to a lot of the classes you take, so you'll be meeting a bunch of people from the other colleges, anyway.</p>
