What are some tips/advice you can give me to improve my test scores for Trignometry?!

I just receive my progress report today from Trig. and I got a D(66%)!!!!
2 weeks ago, my grade was a B+(89.1%) and it dropped all the way down to a D because I failed my unit test and it was only 75pts. I also did not turn in one assignment and the last progress report that I receive, which was suppost to be signed by our parent. So, I got minus 10pts from that...but even in the past, when I failed my tests and did all my homework, I still got a B. I don't understand how I can drop two letter grades because one freaking test that I failed. I failed every test before and my grade did not go down that much! I barely understand anything in that class. I was in Pre-Calc class last semester and struggle throughout the whole semester as well and then I transfer to Trig this semester because I THOUGHT its going to be a bit easier! Obviously it isn't because both math class is really similar...but I'm learning concepts right now in Trig that I never learned in Pre-Calc last semester. I study at least an hour or an hour and half for every unit test, but I dont understand why i fail the tests every time! Maybe I need to improve my study habits. I study for tests by going through my book and finding similar problems we have learned in class and practice those problems and then after im finished, I would check all odd problems in the back of the book for the answers. I'm not sure its an effective way of studying, but it seems like its not working for me. I don't know how else to study for tests. I have 12 weeks before the semester ends, when the final grades are entered.

What do you suggest I do to improve my grade in Trig?? What are some effective ways to study that will improve my test scores??

Obviously your test scores need to drastically improve if you want to get back to a B or at least a C. Trigonometry is very broad so I can’t help you unless you tell me what your specific issue is.

You should ask your math teacher if you can stay after school for extra help sometimes it is easier to learn one on one.
