What are the best ways to improve ACT English?

<p>I took my first practice ACT today and I got a 33 composite (36 Reading, 33 Science, 33 Math, 28 English). I want a 34 composite and English seems like the best place to raise my composite score.</p>

<p>Do you guys have any online resources (i.e. sparknotes) that you found effective for ACT English? I know I can improve on English because I've always been good with grammar (77 MC subscore on the SAT writing) but I definitely need to see strategies. </p>

<p>Did you use a real ACT test. They are your best best for predicting success on the test itself.</p>

<p>I found Barron’s ACT 36 is very helpful for English.
