what do you guys think the chances of someone with a 3.35 applying with a non-impacted major to UCSD?

i go to a community college in san diego...if that matters at all..which I'm sure it doesnt. thanks for any feedback!

why didn’t you just do that program UCSD was doing this year with SD community colleges where you only needed a 3.0?

:O My counselors never told me about it! Well…even if I’m not in that program…would getting into SD be a problem?

Yeah, a 3.4ish could probably get you into a non-impacted major. Shame you didn’t do the San Diego transfer guarantee, my school (also in San Diego) had posters throughout the campus explaining how it works.

Anyway, TAG is a guarantee. It doesn’t mean those who don’t do it are excluded.

You have a shot since it’s not impacted.

Hmm thanks guys. Weird how I didn’t know about all of this. Agree with the 3.4. Last year the cutoff was about a 3.2 for non impacted and heard UCs are pretty much using the same numbers as the previous year
