It would depend on what you get on the ACT/SAT. As of right now, I would say your chances are pretty low. UGA wants to see you taking challenging classes (AP). Your gpa doesn’t really stand out either. However, you still have 1st semester of your senior year and you also didn’t take your ACT yet.

I thought honors was AP classes, and if not my school only has college and honors classes. What score on the act should I be goaling for ?

AP and honors classes are different. However, in your case, they would understand because your school doesn’t offer advanced placement classes. In my opinion, I would aim for a 29+ on the ACT. For SAT, I would aim for a 1900+.

If you have no AP classes at your school have you asked about taking AP on line, through georgia virtual school?
Also, I would aim for at least a 30-31 on ACT to offset no AP’s. STUDY for it over the summer and take the first fall test. Try taking this summer in June as a test. Also, you won’t be competitive EA, but, make sure you have lots of EC and volunteer hours, and a couple of great recommendations and you should make it. As long as you keep GPA at or above where you are now.
