What are the important AP tests?

I'm looking to be an Economics major in my respected universities, and one of my friends is looking at a Bio/Some science major.

My school doesn't offer AP tests, but I plan to take some come May to alleviate my disadvantage in credits with other college students.

I won't have time to study for all the AP tests, but I wish to get 5s on whichever I take.

So my question is:

Are there certain AP tests that are more valuable to take as an Economics major? or a Biology major?

If it helps, these are the colleges that we're applying to:

me:

Columbia
Yale
Brown
Boston College
NYU
UCB
UCLA
UCI
UCSD

friend:

Barnard
Wellesley
Boston College
Cornell
NYU
UCLA
UCSD
UCI
UCD

Thank you greatly for your time.

I'm not sure if colleges judge based on the AP tests you take. I would just just take the tests that I know I can get a high score in, but that's just me.

Oh, sorry I didn't clarify. I didn't mean for admissions criteria, I meant if I get in anywhere, will taking certain tests help me avoid more classes?

Ex: Spanish lets me skip language while taking Gov only gives me a humanities credit.

Usually, if you want to skip courses in college, you would take AP courses that do not pertain to you major. So for example, you want to be an economics major. You could take Chemistry or Bio to skip intro courses. However, if you want to show colleges your knowledge of your major before hand, you should take AP Macro and Microeconomics.

ok, that helps. thank you

No problem.

i'm taking cal AP and stats AP for major econ

I have taken/am taking/will be taking AP Euro, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Calc AB and AP Stat for Chemical Engineering Major and Pre-Med. Also, is this a good variety of AP courses? Are there any that I should take, that I'm missing? Thanks
