What are the least impacted majors at UC's

Hi there, I know that this is an odd post, as usually people are concerned with the most popular freshman majors.
But, I was wondering, from your knowledge/experiences
what are the easiest majors to get into
at

UCB
UCLA
UC Davis
UC San Diego
UC Santa Barbara
UC Irvine

PLEASE LIST SOME OTHER THAN UNDECLARED

Thanks

i am bumping this

You can’t really answer this question, because for most majors in the humanities and sciences college (College of Letters & Science at UCs), the major is not considered in the application process.

anyone else???

Apply with what you like. I hate when people apply to colleges under easy majors just to get into a college and then switch to what they had in mind.

Stuff that you think is popular (Psych/Econ/Engineering) is probably more impacted than stuff you think is unpopular (afro-american studies/woman’s studies).

Again, there are no specific “easy” majors at the UCs. With some caveats, the entire College of Letters & Sciences at the various UCs DO NOT consider major in their admission decisions. For example, UCLA:

[Freshman Selection - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](Application Review Process for First-Years | UCLA Undergraduate Admission)

*For the College of Letters and Science, the applicant’s major is not considered during the review process. *

UCSB: [UCSB Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucsb.edu/SelectionProcess.asp?section=selectionprocess&subsection=reviewprocess&selectiontype=prospective_freshman)

*Choice of major is not considered in selection except for computer science applicants, who are selected using engineering criteria (see above), and dance and music performance, which require an audition. *

It’s similar at all other schools. So I would say “most” majors at schools are the easiest majors.
