What are the two easiest SAT II subject tests?

Title really explains it all, I think. My strongest subjects are definitely reading and writing. Math is definitely one of my weaker fields. The in between subjects are probably history and science.

But in your opinion, which of the subject tests are the easiest to prepare for? I haven't taken any subject tests yet. Plus, I've been so involved in studying for the regular SAT exam that I didn't take much time (or any at all) to study for SAT II.

And do colleges (ie. Bard, BU, Hamilton) place too much emphasis on subject tests? I have a feeling that those scores won't be as high as I'd like them to be.

Also, how long is the duration of one subject test? I plan on taking two or three of them in one day so I can use the rest of the year to take the SAT I test.

Thanks.

if you’re good at reading and analyzing, give SAT Literature a shot. there really aren’t any “easy” subject tests. all of them require studying. if you’re good at memorizing you could give US History, World History, Bio a shot.

For SAT II use [SAT Subject Tests Preparation - College Confidential](SAT Subject Test Preparation - College Confidential Forums)
This is forum for SAT preparation.

Another option is to take the ACT. Some schools say you can take the ACT with writing OR SAT plus subject tests. Check your schools of interest for what they require. Then prepare for ACT using the CC threads for ACT prep.

Good luck
