What are YOU doing this summer?

<p>Geez, you guys are such slackers...</p>

<p>I'll be:
1) working at a yogurt store
2) smoking weed midday
3) drinking at night</p>

<p>I wish I could be studying for SAT's like you cool cats but I'm done with that business</p>

<ul>
<li>Summer research at UCLA lab called CENS (Center for Embedded Networked Sensing) :)</li>
<li>Summer Research at school that will also be for ISEF :D</li>
<li>Probably SAT/PSAT prep... :(</li>
</ul>

<p>research at a lab and study lots of math, chem and physics so I can place into honors/upper level classes freshman year.</p>

<p>Planned to read 6-7 books, ball and workout.</p>

<p>I'm so excited for the summer!</p>

<p>-Brief vacation in Canada with family
-Work two jobs
-READ READ all the wonderful books I've missed since entering high school
-WRITE short stories, poems, anything creative
-SLEEP
-Doing volunteering activities or community service</p>

<p>-Visiting my top college choices
-Getting a job
-Volunteering at a summer camp for underprivledged children for a week
-Reading a bunch of books for AP English the next year
-And of course sleeping in, laying out by the pool, and hanging with friends</p>

<p>Move out of state and get a job while living alone... Big time changes!</p>

<li>Working at a local lab as an intern</li>
<li>Developing Siemens submission while at lab</li>
<li>Visiting colleges</li>

<p>I feel like such a slacker compared to you guys
...I'm going to India to visit family and do nothing. For two months! :D</p>

<p>-UArts filmmaking program (on merit scholarship, thank goodness...)
-UVa writing program (on grant, thank goodness...)
-paging at local library
-writing
-making films
-reading
-watching films
-taking the train
-sleeping
-planning/organizing/proposing</p>

<p>Oh, and:
-relaxing with my family
-relaxing with myself
-relaxing...</p>

<p>I don't know if I'll have AP homework...I'm taking Calc, English Lit, USH, and Latin: Virgil next year. Uh oh.</p>

<p>I WANTED TO GO TO THAT UARTS PROGRAM SO BADLY.</p>

<p>Along with the RISD program and the MICA program in Tuscany. All of them were too expensive for me.</p>

<p>I am working and playing soccer. I am also going to do ap homework and play soccer then I will go out on my boat and play soccer.</p>

<p>I'm going to be working <em>hopefully</em>.</p>

<p>Working for the red cross at a Naval hospital, volunteering for 7 weeks in cocle Panama, reconstruction project in New Orleans</p>

<p>No, I was too late to apply for any scholarships and I think my parents make too much to collect on financial aid. My parents mentioned it to my grandparents though and they might pay for some of it. I'd love to go.</p>

<p>Maybe I'll meet you! Do you live in PA/ the Philly area?</p>

<p>Nope, I live in Michigan. I'm still considering it, or a program at Otis (college credit). I just want to go to an art program so badly.</p>

<p>Oh--the cost for me is much less because I'm commuting...</p>

<li>take conservatory music history 4 exam</li>
<li>DEEP bio-med engineering program and U of Toronto for 2 or 4 weeks</li>
<li>lazing around with SO and friends</li>
<li>catch up on reading and learn a few piano pieces (my lists for both of those activities are growing exponentially :S)</li>
<li>GO RUNNING MORE OFTEN! And not die during the first week of cross-country... I want to do a couple of road races too!</li>
<li>working hopefully, doing some tutoring and piano-teaching</li>
<li>short trip to the the states, heading for Philly to see my aunt, then college-touring in the northeast</li>
<li>volunteering at a local health clinic?</li>
