Attend summer school (to get a couple graduation requirements out of the way)
Attend the Mu Alpha Theta national convention (which means weekly math practice!)

I will be living in a rural community in Paraguay for 6 weeks with the Amgios de las Americas program, working with community leaders on community based initiatives and educating the youth on environmental issues. A week after I return I will be going to Spain for a week an a half with my father. I can’t wait for the summer, two life-changing experiences!!

I’m going to take some courses at the community college because it doesn’t look like I’m going to be able to fit everything I want into my schedule next year. Other than that, I’m just planning on chilling out and partying a lot. We have an out of town wedding and a trip to Europe planned, but my summer is pretty much over in August when band camp starts.

I have to see if the tuba professor at the state university still wants to take me on, so hopefully lessons.
I applied to a couple of writing programs, so those.
Finally, drivers ed. (I’m seventeen and a rising senior.)
Band camp later in the summer.
Church camp. (It’s easy volunteer hours.)
Not much else… Maybe try to take some vocal lessons. I want to learn some more crochet too.

The rest of my summer will be hanging out with friends’ houses, going to parties, and spending every other day at either Six Flags or the beach. It feels good to finally have a summer where I can just relax lol.

@wvcollegecrazy–Yes, for reals. I worked for the congressman last summer doing research and writing at his district office. Now he wants me to work in D.C… The Congressional gold medal, (they just sent me the bronze, silver medal), will be given on the steps of the Capitol. It should be quite an event. Fortunately I won’t need to take an extra flight, as I will be working at Capitol Hill then. I’m stoked.

-Travel Europe with my Honor Chorus. We will be in Europe for 3 weeks and see/peform in 6 different countries: France (performing in NOTRE DAME!, lotsa other places, but we also get to see Versailles!), Switzerland (On our way to our performances in Switzerland we are going to take the scenic view of the Alps!), Italy (Just Veince, I’ve been there before. Nice place, not right for me though. Performing at St. Marks Square), Austria, Czech Republic, and Germany (we get to see Dachau? I think that’s how you spell it?) We give a lot of performances, but we also get a lot of free time to explore Europe and the cities we go to. One of my best friends is coming with… it will be fun to shop in Milan!

-I guess study for the ACT and prepare for my AP classes next year?

-Tennis. Lots of it. Love tennis.

-Find a worthwhile program to volunteer with. I did the ARL when I was 14 and now that I got my car and liscense today I should be able to volunteer more, but I want to find something where it feels like I’m making a little bit of a bigger difference, yanno? Not just walk dogs, as fun as it is! Not saying that the ARL isn’t important at all.

-Chillax with my friends… have fun while being a “kid”, yanno?

I just finished Super Mario Galaxy today, and I’m definitely playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 over the summer.

On a more studious note, I’ll be working on conservation projects, getting my scuba diving certificates, and taking some marine science classes.

I’d like to have and be still working a job, and maybe get another, for a school trip to France.
Study more French. My current level is unacceptable! D:<
Also get wayyyyy better at driving.
Draw a lot and get way better. My life depends on it.
Actually start a comic.

fairy_dreams: Did you like Super Mario Galaxy? I thought it wasn’t as exciting as previous Mario games (my favorite was, of course, Super Mario Bros. 3!!!). Compared to Super Mario Sunshine, it was too short and too easy. Compared to New Super Mario Bros. for Wii, however, Super Mario Galaxy is extremely difficult. It took me about a week to finish Super Mario Galaxy and three days to finish New Super Mario Bros.

As you can tell, I love video games.
One thing: I am not a “Nintendo fan-boy,” it’s just that Playstation games (except for God of War of course) and X-box games aren’t as appealing anymore. I felt similarly to the Wii, but Q3 and Q4 2010 seems like a great year for Nintendo video games. I might just waste $100+ on video games this year if I save enough.

Cottage up in Maine (hike, sail, swim, eat, relax, bond, etc…)
Job (Computer store up in Maine?)
GOLF!
Some casual video game playing.
College visits.
Summer work for APs/English (5 of my 6 classes will have summer work - ■■■.)
Memorize CR vocab + do practice tests :)
