“I was actually born at midnight; my parents had the option of picking my birthday”
You should read the series Midnighters. =D Its a series about kids who were born at Midnight and have special powers like being able to jump high and stuff.

my essays are still undecided. im being rather wishy washy about them because i have a lot of topics to choose from. ahh…cant decide…

I’m not sure. I have two rough drafts written- one about forming a connection with a special ed kid, one about my family’s tradition of playing Jeopardy. But I don’t really like either of them.

I plan on writing about my grandma getting cancer. The treatment was very successful, and she’s very lucky, but she went through hell during treatment. Cancer treatment is still in its infancy, and this inspires me to go into oncology. Is that too specific (is it bad to “choose” a field of specialty?)

I think I’m definitely going to go with the getting lost one. Might as well give them humor since I never actually did anything impressive enough to write an essay about that they’ll like to read.

Senior0991-- haha i know i’m not the only person to be born at midnight, i just didn’t know when that happened doctors let people pick their kid’s birthdays- i thought that part was pretty cool.

anyway- i have absolutely NO idea what to do for my college essays. i have no edge/hook. Most of my friends are like “why would you even be thinking about that- you have months before they’re due?” if it wasnt for cc i would be blissfully unaware that i’m so behind!
