<p>We don't have half of the organizations mentioned there. It seems it may be time to start a Biking and Chinese club sometime in the near future, but I have no idea as to how to go about it nor what its main focus or content would be.</p>

<p>As you can see I'm not really digging life right now. Plus my math teacher is giving me a B for a stupid paper she graded based on preconceived notions (I started to late, I was "undecisive" on a topic, I didn't do the topic she wanted me to do (which I absolutely hated)(I got a D on the ****ing thing and its 30 percent of my final exam grade)). Because of this I'm likely to lose my #1 ranking (the only thing that had gone right to this point/ my only glimmer of hope in the college admissions process). I think I bombed the SATs today. Oh what would I do without college confidential?</p>

<p>What sucks at my school is that technically, a student can only run for one position. You're only allowed to run for another office if the position is open/unopposed.</p>

Exactly! That's why everyone aims for the big positions and leaves all the rest open.</p>
<p>My school only has something like 4 or 5 clubs, and they're all culture clubs. I ran for Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper and lost to someone less qualified but more popular... he's appointing sub-editors to do all the actual work, so now I'm Photography Editor and News and Features Editor. Which actually suits me fine, because it lets me get things done without having to worry too much about the people you have to pummel with sticks before they'll do the bare minimum of work because they don't care about anything (aka most of the staff).</p>
