@soxmom I do have quite a few clothes fancier than jeans, but they’re much too formal (band concert clothes, dresses I never wear if I can help it). I personally find it hard to shop for things in-between. Also on footwear, so sneakers wouldn’t be allowed? Thanks!

Something I find very interesting is that the “great in-between” of clothing sort of IS “prep” style. Khakis and an rumpled oxford. Nantucket Reds and a polo. Bucks. Weejuns. Sperrys.

As an adult who doesn’t have to wear business wear every day, I’ve found that the rise of “dark wash” jeans definitely bit into my inventory of non-jean pants (what would be called “khakis”, but in colors other than, you know, khaki. I went on a spree recently to remedy this as some of my clients are “no jeans” but I felt overdressed wearing wool dress slacks and a blazer.

For reference, my daughter wore slim corduroys (jean style), an oxford, and a blazer for revisits. I think she wore a driving shoe style moc on her feet.

Wow, that’s a lot of great suggestions! If only everything didn’t cost quite as much. :)

I think most of the snow has melted On our recent revisit days I saw girls wearing boat shoes, various boots (Ugg, granny style, tall boots), flats and sneakers.

Does anyone know if you can wear jeans to NMH envision day?
I heard the dress code is supposed to be casual…

I wore dark jeans, a nice blouse, a cardigan and flats to Envision NMH. The majority of the other kids were wearing something of the like, and I blended right in. In fact, the ones that stood out were the ones that got dressed up.

I was there too! Might’ve seen you. Jeans were definitely the right decision.
