What art schools should I look into?

<p>I'm in 11th grade, I'm currently in IB taking all AP classes, and my GPA is around a 3.88 (hopefully over 4 by the end of this year :)) And I'm really interested in art school. A major problem is money, I don't really have any, also I don't know what schools to look into seeing as no one around me has been to college, much less art school. I don't know if it's something I should pursue due to lack of money, not the best grades, and I don't know where my art stands. I'm going to talk to my guidance counselor soon and hopefully attend a National Portfolio Day next weekend, but I'd like to have some ideas of what colleges to look into. <p>Cal-Arts is supposed to be pretty good.
Are you sure you want to major in the arts?
If not, I know some schools have great programs.
Columbia, NYU, etc.
I know Johns Hopkins students who take art classes at the MICA, which is supposedly very good for arts too.</p>
