Just curious is the liberal arts is hard, or the business..., etc. I can't remember what I heard about each. Thanks

http://www2.binghamton.edu/admissions/pdf/premier-public.pdf - This will give you a lot of information regarding the school. In terms of admissions the easiest is CCPA (College of Community and Public Affairs). Harpur is the largest so it is competitive in that it gets the most applicants. Watson, SOM (School of Management) and Decker are also competitive as they are much more selective in admitting students.

This by no means an “official” statistic, but it’s based on what I’ve gathered from fellow students:

CCPA (least competitive)
Watson
Harpur
SOM
Decker (most competitive)

PLEASE keep in mind that SOM and Decker are even MORE difficult to TRANSFER into. If you want to major in a nursing-related or business-related major, apply for it as a FRESHMAN! Fewer than 25% of students leave SOM prior to graduation, and far fewer leave Decker. Transfer students can only fill the slots vacated by students who leave prior to graduation, so do the math.

Apply to the school that interests you and that you plan to major in - it can be VERY difficult to transfer out of one and into another, especially if it is SOM, Decker or even Harpur.
