What can I do to "sell myself" off to Rice University?

I am junior that really wants to go to this school. I have been dreaming to go there forever. With my stats, am I doing reasonably well to stand a chance in this amazing college? Should I improve significantly or just a little bit.

--GPA 3.6
-- I am in AP US History, English III Spanish. I am also in honors physics and honors precalculus.
-- I am involved in Earth Club, Spanish NHS and I work part-time at a local restaurant
-- My ethnicity is a Hispanic and if I go to Rice, I will be the first generation in my family to go to college
-- I have never been to any alternative school for bad conduct or something related like that
-- I am from a low-income family so I am hoping Rice will be more considerate of my family's financial needs --- possibly a lot of grants or something
--I am scheduled to take my SAT and ACT in the coming weeks. I feel pretty confident I will do well.

So am I doing alright? Please provide any feedback.

^ That ^

Score decently on the SAT/ACT and you’re a shoo-in.

Good luck! :)

Thanks you guyz. This really gives me some hope of admission into my dream school!

Do well on the ACT/ SAT and try to raise the GPA.

You do have a good chance though!

You would sell yourself to a school?

When I wrote “sell myself” I meant how could I standout from all other applicants competing for a spot onto Rice’s campus.

Call and give an asking price?

prostitution is generally looked down upon by adcoms.

We all know this is a lie!

Rice takes a very holistic view of admissions, so at this point, the best thing you can do is to write amazing essays.
