What can I do with an Economics and Poli Sci Major?

I am currently thinking of majoring in Economics and perhaps pursuing a double major with Political Science. What kind of careers would I be able to get into with that double major? I'm interested in Economics and politics which is why I want to do both.

What kind of government jobs could I get if I want to work for the State or Federal government. I'm at UNC Charlotte, but I'll probably transfer to NC State University in the fall.

An economics major gives you more power in the marketplace than political science.

There is not much you can do with a political science degree other than attend law school.

With an economics degree, you are qualified for lots of jobs in the government.

The federal government makes all sorts of decisions that impact on the economy.

The government wants to be able to predict the likely behavior of the populace if it implements a particular program or policy.

You would also qualify for jobs at banks, and in big corporations.
