I know I am only allowed to take two pencils and an eraser. Can I take a ruler as well? What else am I allowed to carry?

a Calculator

Honestly, Google. Also, you don’t need a ruler for anything on the SAT, and as it is not listed on the link below,you shouldn’t take it with you as your proctor may think that you are trying to cheat with it.

<a href=“On SAT Test Day – SAT Suite | College Board”>The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board;

If you have special needs, you can contact CollegeBoard to try to get an exception to those rules, but you will most likely not get one unless you have an actual medical need.

As @Vinefeather stated above^, it’s not necessary to bring a ruler because the in the SAT BB by CB, it states that unless stated otherwise, all objects are scaled to size, but instead you are given the values already

@Vinefeather can I take an extra calculator? and pencil sharpeners?

@ElisaMJones Of course you can take an extra calculator, however it must follow the standards given to you: cannot have a qwerty keyboard, etc…

and for pencil sharpeners: as long as they aren’t the electronic ones which produce loud noises. Preferably the old-style put your pencil in the whole and twist ^o^ (sorry if that sounded inappropriate…)

Haha thanks a lot @medicsz :)

Don’t forget your ID and admissions ticket! VERY important. But you just need pencils and calculators pretty much. I can’t think of what else.
